While there were some advance review copies of the book printed already, the publisher of Immediate Sensation Books has decided to shut down the company due to unexpected changes in their financial situation. While the book will not come out in the foreseeable future, I will be seeking a new publisher for it.

That said, you can still get a sneak preview of the book in advance of whenever it will see the light of day. Debbie is not your typical teenager. She is overweight and in love with a computer geek. Her father is a philandering, abusive drunk, and her mother has a constant case of “nerves.” When Debbie discovers the incendiary poetry and spectacular suicide of Sylvia Plath, she begins planning to kill herself. But when her suicide attempt goes awry, she is forced to examine what it means to be a young woman with a voice not her own.
